What kind of tours does SAS run?

Twenty-three private set routes, each a full day of about eight hours with your own car and driver. Prices are per person and include hotel pickup, fuel, parking and entrance tickets. Every route is one we drive ourselves — swap a stop or add time as you go. Prefer to choose your own stops? Book a driver day instead.

Staying longer?

How a day with us works

One car, one driver, your pace.

There is no group to wait for. Your driver picks you up, you set off early, and if you want twenty more minutes at a waterfall, you take them.

  1. Pickup at your hotel or villa

    Your driver messages you the evening before with the exact time and the car.

  2. The first stop while it is still quiet

    Temples and terraces are usually quieter and cooler early in the day — that's why we start early.

  3. Lunch where your driver would eat

    A warung with a view, not a buffet.

  4. The rest of the route, adjusted to you

    Skip a stop, swap a stop, stay longer — decide it in the car.

  5. Back at your hotel

    Around eight hours door to door. Extra hours can be added on the day.

Before you book

Tour questions

What time does the tour start?

Usually early, around 07:00, so the first stop is quieter. We confirm the exact time the day before. Prefer a later start? Say so in your request — most routes work from 08:00 too.

Is this a private tour?

Yes. Only your group and your driver — no strangers in the car, no fixed group schedule. Larger groups travel in two cars that stay together.

Do you pick us up at our hotel?

Yes, pickup and drop-off are included. A few far-away areas carry a surcharge, which we tell you before you confirm.

What should we bring or wear?

A sarong for temples (your driver carries spares), shoes you don't mind getting wet at waterfalls, and sunscreen.
