How much does a private driver in Bali cost?
Day rates are per car, not per person: up to ten hours with an English-speaking driver, fuel and parking included. Tell us the date and roughly where you'd like to go, and we send the exact total before you pay anything.

Good to know: Bali's roads are slow and the weather changes quickly — your driver reorders stops or suggests an alternative. Extra hours are charged per hour and settled at the end. Several days with one driver: we keep the same driver wherever we can.

Child seat ready, stops whenever the kids needed
Two kids under six. The child seat was fitted before pickup, the car was cool and clean, and Wayan never rushed us. We changed the plan twice on the road and he just made it work.

The quote we got is the total we paid
Name board at arrivals, straight to Seminyak. We then booked two driver days and the price was quoted in full — fuel, parking, the remote-area surcharge for Amed — before we transferred anything.

Three days, one driver, no planning stress
Same driver for the east, the north and a Nusa Penida harbour run. He suggested times that avoided the queues at Lempuyang and told us honestly which places weren't worth it. Felt like travelling with a friend who drives.

Asked before every booking
How many people fit in the car?
Two: the Daihatsu Luxio for up to six ($70 a day) and the Toyota Hiace for up to eleven ($120 a day), both with luggage. More than eleven? Both cars together, one quote.
Does the driver speak English?
Yes — enough to explain a temple, negotiate a parking spot and chat about the village. Need another language? Tell us in the request and we'll say honestly what we can do.
Can we keep the same driver for several days?
Usually yes. Book the days together and we assign one driver for the whole stay wherever schedules allow.
Do you do airport transfers?
Yes. We meet you at arrivals with a name board and drive you to your hotel. Send your flight number and hotel; we quote by zone.
