Bedugul is a mountain lake resort area in Bali. Located in the centre-north region of the island, on the road between Denpasar and Singaraja. The whole area is at an altitude of 700 metres or more. Known as the coldest place in Bali, Bedugul has a totally different climate to any other place on the island. Major sites in Bedugul are the Pura Ulun Danu Beratan water temple and the Bali Botanic Garden.
